Password
The password page is a landing page that adds password protection to merchants' online stores in case they are not yet ready to go live.
Steps
- In the theme editor (Customize), open the template selector.
- Select Other, then Password.
- On the left-sidebar, select Main Password.
- Make necessary changes > Save.
#General settings
Change or add background color, image, text color, show overlay, and display full screen.
#Edit Content message and Password
Enable the password to restrict access to your online store. Only customers with a password can access it.
There are 2 ways to add the content message & password:
- After click on the Main password, choose Online store preferences.
- On the Dashboard > Online Store > Preferences > Password protection.
#Other settings
You can also add the following elements to your main password site:
- Logo
- Newsletter form
- Social sharing
- Copyright
