# Product description

## How to add a description to your products

**Step 1:** Go to **Products >** choose the products you want to edit&#x20;

**Step 2:** Now you can edit the following contents as you want:

* Product title/ description
* Product status (Active/ Draft)
* Product organization (Type/ Vendor/ Collections)
* Options/ Variants
* Theme template (Default/ Layout grid 2 columns/ Layout grid mix/ Layout stacked/ Layout standard gallery).

To change the images, just upload them to **Media** or paste the URL link.

## How to display the Product description

Steps

1. From the Shopify admin, go to theme editor (**Customize**).
2. Navigate to the **product template** and select the section **Product information**.
3. Click **Add block** > **Description**.
4. Reorder the block where you want within the section.
