If you are trying to upload the file you got from Themeforest for Minimog to your Shopify store and receive this message:

:warning: *zip does not contain a valid theme: missing template “layout/theme.liquid”* :warning:

don't worry*.* We've got you covered!

There are **2 methods** you can use to install Minimog theme:

## Install Minimog theme manually

To manually upload Minimog theme to your Shopify, make sure you **extract your theme package and you will find another zip file inside it**.

To learn more about the detailed steps, see [Install Minimog manually](/minimog-theme/getting-started/install-minimog-theme/install-minimog-manually.md)

## Install Minimog automatically using FoxHome *(recommended)*
