You can customize your search results with the Search & Discovery app from Shopify. The app provides a number of search features and settings that change the behavior of your online store search.
- From your Shopify admin, go to Apps.
- Select Search & Discovery app > Settings.
- Make necessary changes.
- Save the settings.

Customize how the out of stock products are displayed in your search results
- At the end of the list
- Not at all - hide the sold-old products from the list
- Mixed with all other results.
