**Product inventory** status triggers a sense of scarcity, increases the perceived value of your products, and pushes your customers to make faster buying decisions - all contributing to the FOMO effect 🔥
To display the **Product inventory** status, make sure you select **Track quantity** for your products.
Then, you can update settings for the product inventory status.

**Steps**
1. In the theme editor (**Customize**), click **Theme settings**
2. Locate **Product inventory**
3. Make necessary changes
4. **Save.**

Settings include:
* **Low inventory threshold** (between 1-50);
* **Show inventory notice**: Always/ Low inventory;
* **Hide back-ordered inventory notice** or note;
* **Show inventory count**: Always/ Never/ Low inventory;
Product inventory can be added to your [Product cards](/minimog-theme/theme-settings/product-card.md) and [Product information](/minimog-theme/collections-and-products/product-page/product-information.md) section of the Product details page.
