# Video

A short video brings brand awareness to store visitors, increases engagement, and entices more customers to the brand.

Steps

1. In the theme editor **(Customize)**, click **Add section.**
2. Select **Video.**
3. **Save.**

The settings include:

## General

Select the background color and container type (default/full width/use container box).

## Video settings

* **Video type**: Shopify hosted/External

If you are using a Shopify hosted video, select a video from your Files.

If you are using an external video (Youtube or Vimeo), insert the video link.

* **Video ratio**: 16:9/ 21:9/ 4:3.
* **Cover image**: select or upload an image to use as your video cover.

## Content

Use the provided text fields to add a suitable heading. You can change the color and size of the text and the play button.

Modify the video width and how it is played:

* Autoplay (only when the video is set as muted);
* Loop;
* Muted;
* Show controls (for Shopify hosted video only).
