A short video brings brand awareness to store visitors, increases engagement, and entices more customers to the brand.

Steps

1. In the theme editor (Customize), click Add section.

2. Select Video.

3. Save.

The settings include:

General

Select the background color and container type (default/full width/use container box).

Video settings

• Video type: Shopify hosted/External

If you are using a Shopify hosted video, select a video from your Files.

If you are using an external video (Youtube or Vimeo), insert the video link.

• Video ratio: 16:9/ 21:9/ 4:3.

• Cover image: select or upload an image to use as your video cover.

Content

Use the provided text fields to add a suitable heading. You can change the color and size of the text and the play button.

Modify the video width and how it is played:

• Autoplay (only when the video is set as muted);

• Loop;

• Muted;

• Show controls (for Shopify hosted video only).
