# How to use discount code
Use a promo code to get a discounted subscription fee when activating your paid plan, changing your current plan, or paying for your next billing cycle.
In this article, we will guide you on how to apply your discount code in FoxKit.

**Steps:**
1. From your **Shopify admin**, go to **Apps** > **FoxKit**.
2. In the left side-bar, click on FoxKit **Plan.**
3. On your Pricing page, locate the message "**Have a discount code?**"
4. Click **Enter here** and insert your code.
5. Click **Apply the code.**
6. After applying your discount code, you will see your new pricing reflected. Choose a paid plan.
7. You will then be directed to a Shopify page for subscription approval. Here, select **Approve** to finish.

If you are already in a paid plan and want to use the discount code for your next billing cycle, change your plan to the **Free** plan by clicking **Downgrade**, and start going through the process above.
