How we collect information

When you install Foxify App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:
Read_Products: This includes products and collections. We need this permission to sync the products and collections data between your Shopify store and our app for filtering and searching features.
Read_Themes, Write_Themes: This permission allows us to read the store’s themes information for the auto theme setup process.
Additionally, we collect the following type(s) of personal information from you and/or your customers once you have installed the App: Information about you and others who may access the App on behalf of your store, limited to your email address (encrypted database); Information about individuals who visit your store, such as their IP address (*), web browser details, and time zone, date/time stamps on the particular device.
We collect personal information directly from the relevant individual, through your Shopify account, or using the following technologies: “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org. “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address (*), web browser details, and time zone, date/time stamps on the particular device.
(*) The IP is converted to the geolocation data of the state and country and the IP is removed after that process. No IP address is stored in our app databases.

How we use information

We use the Order Information we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the site, including processing your payment information and providing you with invoices and order confirmations. Additionally, we use this Order Information to communicate with you; screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and, when in line with the preferences you’ve shared with us, provide you with information or promotional offers relating to our products and services.
We use the Device Information we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address) and more generally to improve and optimize our site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

How we share information

We share your Personal Information with the following third parties to help us conduct our business and support our customers as described above.

We use GetGist to communicate with you and provide customer support when you contact us. You can read more about how GetGist uses your Personal Information at https://getgist.com/privacy/.
Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful requests for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
As described above, we may use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe could be of interest to you. Sharing Your Personal Information
We do not and will never share, disclose, sell, rent, or otherwise provide personal information to other third parties or companies (other than to specific Shopify merchants you are interacting with, or to third-party apps or service providers being used by the merchants you are interacting with) for the marketing of their own products or services.
Still, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful requests for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Data Retention

When you place an order through our site, we maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. Customer information will be retained in our system for a period of three years or as long as you’re an active user of our products.

Protecting your rights

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access any personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us via one of the methods described below.
Additionally, if you are a European resident, we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example, if you make an order through the site) or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the U.S.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
