Easily manage restock alerts for all out-of-stock products with one campaign

Before you begin

On the XFlow dashboard, you’ll see an important notice prompting you to activate the global restock campaign.

This campaign applies to all out-of-stock products in your store and allows you to quickly start with prebuilt workflows and email templates.

Review and customize the workflow and email if needed, then activate the campaign to start sending back-in-stock notifications automatically.

The Global restock campaign allows users to quickly enable a global restock campaign using prebuilt workflows and email templates. This campaign applies to all out-of-stock products in the store and helps automate the process of sending back-in-stock notifications.

How to activate the Global restock campaign

Enable XFlow Helper

Steps:

1. Go to your Shopify dashboard.

2. Choose Online Store > Themes.

3. Navigate to App embeds and enable XFlow Helper.

Once enabled, customers will be able to subscribe to back-in-stock alerts directly from your product page.

Review notification email

XFlow provides a ready-to-use Restock notification template with product details and a direct link to purchase. You can customize the email or use this default template.

Review restock workflow

Review the restock notification workflow that triggers your back-in-stock emails when a product is restocked. You can use the default setup or extend it with additional triggers, conditions, and actions.

Activate the global campaign

Activate the global campaign to apply the restock workflow to all out-of-stock products in your store. You can exclude specific products if needed.

Test the automation

Steps:

1. Subscribe via the Notify me button.

2. Restock the product and confirm the notification email is sent.

3. XFlow tracks the entire customer journey for you, from email opens to completed purchases.
