### FAQs

<details>

<summary>What is XFlow?</summary>

XFlow is a back-in-stock automation app that automatically notifies customers when a product is restocked.

It allows you to trigger messages based on specific customer actions or product events.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Is XFlow similar to other automation or messaging tools?</summary>

XFlow may feel familiar if you've used email or automation tools before, but it's built specifically for back-in-stock scenarios.&#x20;

Unlike general marketing automation platforms, XFlow is designed around stock events, making it simpler to manage restock alerts without building complex, unrelated workflows.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Does XFlow only support back-in-stock alerts?</summary>

Right now, XFlow focuses on back-in-stock alerts, and that's intentional.&#x20;

Back-in-stock moments are high-intent events, and XFlow is designed to help merchants handle them properly with better control over products, messaging, timing, and follow-ups than basic notification tools.&#x20;

Looking ahead, XFlow is being built with expansion in mind. Support for pre-orders and additional notification channels is planned as the product evolves, using the same campaign- and workflow-based foundation.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How much does XFlow cost?</summary>

XFlow is currently available as a free MVP, allowing merchants of all sizes to get started without a pricing barrier.&#x20;

Pricing plans will be introduced later as more advanced features are added - with clear options for growing and larger stores.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can I create a back-in-stock automation for a specific item?</summary>

Yes! You can choose which products or variants should trigger back-in-stock notifications.\
This gives you full control over which items are included in your campaign.

</details>

<details>

<summary>If a subscriber gets a back-in-stock notification, will they keep receiving notifications every time the item is restocked?</summary>

Nope. Only one message is sent per sign-up.

Once a shopper signs up and receives a back-in-stock notification for a product, they won’t receive another one for the same sign-up.

If they want to be notified again, they’ll need to sign up again.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Does back-in-stock work if “Continue selling when out of stock” is enabled in Shopify?</summary>

No. When this setting is enabled, XFlow treats the product as still in stock.\
Because of that, back-in-stock notifications won’t be triggered.

</details>

<details>

<summary>When someone signs up for a back-in-stock notification, are they added to my subscriber list?</summary>

Yes. When a shopper signs up for a back-in-stock notification, they are added to your subscriber list.

Make sure you’re collecting proper consent if you plan to send them marketing emails beyond the back-in-stock alert.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How do I migrate data from my previous back-in-stock app?</summary>

If you're using a supported app, you can export your subscriber data and import it directly into XFlow.

If you’re migrating manually using a CSV file, make sure the file format matches XFlow’s import requirements before uploading.
