# What happens to my workflows if I don't upgrade?

Learn what happens to your workflows, campaigns, and subscribers if you stay on the Free plan after reaching its usage limit or choose not to upgrade to a paid plan.

## What happens when you reach the Free plan limit?

The Free plan includes up to **5 attributed orders**.

Once you reach this limit:

* All active workflows assigned to active campaigns are **automatically paused**.
* XFlow stops sending notifications until you upgrade to a paid plan.
* Your **Notify Me** button remains active on your storefront.
* New customer sign-ups continue to be collected and stored in the **Pending** status.

Your existing workflows, subscribers, templates, and settings are **not deleted**.

## What continues to work?

Even after your workflows assigned to active campaigns are paused:

* Customers can still subscribe using the **Notify Me** button.
* New subscribers are safely stored in your queue.
* You can continue viewing your workflows, analytics, and subscriber list.
* You can edit your workflows and settings at any time.

## What happens after I upgrade?

Once you upgrade to any paid plan:

* Your paused workflows automatically resume.
* Queued subscribers are processed automatically.
* XFlow resumes sending notifications based on your workflow settings.
* No manual reactivation is required.

## What if I choose not to upgrade?

If you remain on the Free plan after reaching the 5-order limit:

* Your workflows assigned to active campaigns stay paused.
* No notifications are sent.
* New subscribers continue to be collected and stored until you upgrade.

Your data remains available, so you can upgrade at any time and continue where you left off.
