# My snippet is saved but the storefront looks the same ## Most likely: the app embeds are off Shopify turns app embeds off by default when any app is installed. A snippet saved while they are off is stored, published and switched on — and reaches nothing. **Confirm it:** the Vault screen shows a banner naming which embed is off. The dashboard's Vault card says the same. **Fix it:** Online Store → Themes → your live theme → **Customize** → **App embeds** → turn on **Vault code — head** and **Vault code — body** → **Save**. Both. See [Turn on the Snapty app embeds](https://docs.foxecom.com/snapty-app/code-vault/managing-snippets#turn-on-the-snapty-app-embeds). ## Next: the snippet is inactive Open the Vault screen. **Inactive** means it is kept but delivered nowhere — it was saved as a draft, or turned off. **Turn on**. ## Next: it is on the page, and did not do what you expected Open your storefront in a private window and view the page source. Search for a distinctive string from the snippet. - **Not there** → one of the two causes above. - **There** → delivery worked. What the code did after that is not something Snapty can see. A tracking script that fires nothing is a question for the platform's own debugger — Meta Pixel Helper, Google Tag Assistant. A script that throws is a question for the browser console. ## Next: you just published a different theme App embeds are per theme. Turn the Snapty embeds on in the new one.
