# The Settings screen
**Settings** in the left nav. Four cards, top to bottom.
## Plan
| Field | What it shows |
| --- | --- |
| **Plan** | Free |
| **Price** | $0 a month |
| **Snapshot cadence** | How often your live theme is checked — **Daily** |
| **History kept** | **30 days** |
| **Quota used** | *N of 3 snapshots kept* — how many of your kept recordings are in use. Baseline and before-a-restore recordings are permanent on their own and are not counted here |
Nothing on this card is a control. There is no plan to switch to and no upgrade to buy.
## What is being recorded
| Row | What it means |
| --- | --- |
| ***Theme name* — your live theme** · *published* | Recorded, from the first snapshot onward |
| Every other theme · **Not recorded** | The rest of your theme library, by name |
The line under the list says why: Snapty records the live theme only. That is what the app does today, not a limit on the plan you are on.
## Notifications
### Send them to
| State | What Snapty does |
| --- | --- |
| Empty | *"We use your shop email you@example.com to contact you."* Alerts go to the shop's contact email |
| An address entered | *"We will use this email to contact you."* Alerts go there instead |
| No shop email on record | *"We do not have an email for this store yet. Add one here and we will use it to contact you."* Until you do, alerts have nowhere to go |
Clearing the field hands the job back to the shop email.
### The alerts
| Setting | What it controls |
| --- | --- |
| **A new version of your theme is released** | Always sent. Shown so you know it is on |
| **Something breaks after you publish** | Always sent. Shown so you know it is on |
| **A weekly summary of what changed** | On or off. The routine *"N files changed"* notice, batched weekly. Off means routine changes are not emailed — you read them on the History screen |
Two alerts are not on this card because they need no setting: **your theme stopped receiving updates**, and **your history is about to roll off**. Both are always sent.
### Save · Discard
**Save** writes the address and your choice. **Discard** returns the card to what was last saved.
| If saving fails | What it means |
| --- | --- |
| *That does not look like an email address* | Correct it and save again — nothing on this card was changed |
| *Snapty has no record of this store yet* | Reload the page. If it repeats, contact support |
## Your data
| Row | What it says |
| --- | --- |
| **What we store** | Your theme's files and their recorded history |
| **How long** | *Snapshots are kept for 30 days, and older ones roll off from a given date. You are told before they do.* |
| **If you uninstall** | Everything is deleted within 30 days |
| **Left in your theme** | Nothing, because nothing was ever written into it |
### Delete all my data
Immediate, and confirmed first:
> **Delete everything Snapty holds?**
> This deletes every snapshot, the recorded history of your live theme, and your Vault snippets. It cannot be undone.
**Delete everything** removes every recording, the activity log, and every snippet. Your theme is untouched — but your baseline is gone with the rest, and a baseline cannot be recorded again once it is gone: the next one records the theme as it is on that day, not as it was when you installed. Snippets stop being delivered, because there is nothing left to deliver.
