A product page provides essential product information such as price, features, reviews, and product comparison.

## How to customize your Product template

    In the theme editor (**Customize**), open the template selector and select **Products**.

    Select **Default product**.

    This is the default template assigned to all products that use it. Any changes you make to the template will be reflected across all products using the same template.

## Best practices

* **Use the Default product template for shared layouts.**<br/>If multiple products should use the same layout and sections, keep them assigned to the **Default product** template.
* **Use metafields for dynamic product content.**<br/>If the layout stays the same but content needs to vary by product, use [**product metafields**](https://youtu.be/6TT9lbSOJ9M?si=_ITwdVelFrIieMqb) instead of creating multiple templates.
* **Create separate templates for different layouts.**<br/>If certain products need significantly different sections, content structures, or designs, create a new **product template** and assign it only to those products.
