# Hide out-of-stock products from your collections

### Before you start

To hide out-of-stock products from your collections, turn on **Track quantity** for your products in Shopify. Shopify uses inventory tracking to determine whether a product is in stock.

## How to hide out-of-stock products from your collections?

### Set collection condition

For each smart collection, update the conditions as: **Inventory stock**, choose **is greater than** and enter **0**.

This method only works if you set **Products must match** to **all conditions**. If it’s set to match **any condition**, out-of-stock products may still appear.
