# Enable right-to-left (RTL) support

**Right-to-left (RTL**) mode is designed for languages that are read from right to left, such as Arabic and Hebrew.

When enabled, your storefront layout automatically adjusts to match the reading direction, providing a more natural browsing experience for customers using RTL languages.

**Steps:**

1. From the Shopify admin, go to **Online Store** > **Edit theme**.
2. Navigate to:
   * **Hyper, Sleek, Zest, Minimog, and Megamog:** Theme settings > **General** > Enable RTL![](https://docs-assets.foxecom.app/shared-documentation/a9670620-48c0-46ee-b3f4-16cfd75cf3ab.png)
   * **Pebble (v1.2.0 and later):** Theme settings > **Layout** > Enable RTL<br/>![](https://docs-assets.foxecom.app/shared-documentation/04f7fa71-96ac-485f-beaf-382c49e20b8b.png)
3. Select **Enable RTL**.
4. Enter the ISO language codes you want to display the RTL layout for. [Check the ISO language code here.](https://www.loc.gov/standards/iso639-2/php/code_list.php)
5. **Save** the change.<br/>
