# Get to know dynamic checkout buttons All FoxEcom themes **The dynamic checkout buttons/accelerated checkout buttons** allow customers to proceed to checkout directly from a product page to pay for that product. Customers can also use accelerated checkout buttons such as [Shop Pay](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/payments/shop-pay/shop-pay), [Apple Pay](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/payments/accelerated-checkouts/apple-pay), or [Google Pay](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/payments/accelerated-checkouts/google-pay), to check out using the details attached to their chosen payment method. Two example product pages showing accelerated checkout buttons. One page includes an unbranded button with Buy it now text. The other page includes a branded button with Buy with PayPal text. ## Dynamic checkout button basics The checkout method that's displayed on the button depends on a few factors: * Your [payment settings](https://admin.shopify.com/settings/payments) * The customer's browser * The customer's device * The customer's personal payment history. **Dynamic checkout buttons are largely controlled by Shopify**. Check out [Shopify's documentation](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/dynamic-checkout/dynamic-checkout) on the feature for more information. Once you have determined whether this feature is right for your store, you can enable/disable the setting in the theme editor to activate/deactivate the buttons. ## Enable dynamic checkout buttons 1. In the theme editor, open the page/section selector (e.g., product page, featured product section). 2. In the left sidebar, locate the **Product information** section, select the **Buy buttons** block. 3. Select **Show dynamic checkout buttons.** 4. Click **Save**. This will activate the feature globally across the theme. ## Adjusting styling or messaging The appearance of the button will either reflect the **Colors** settings or the branding of the payment provider (e.g., **PayPal**). Translation or other adjustments for branded buttons would require an additional app or 3rd-party modification.
