# Customize your checkout page

### Before you start

**Shopify controls the checkout page, not your theme.** As a result, the available customization options depend on your Shopify plan.

If you're using Shopify Plus, you can customize more parts of the checkout. On other plans, customization is limited to the options provided by Shopify. Learn more about [Shopify Checkout settings](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/checkout-settings).

This guide explains what you can customize and where to find each setting.

## Basic checkout customization

Standard checkout customizations are available on all pages for businesses that are on the Basic plan or higher. Advanced checkout customization features are available only on the Shopify Plus plan.

1. Go to your **Shopify Admin > Settings > Checkout**.

3. Make your changes (logo, colors, fonts, etc.).![image](https://docs-assets.foxecom.app/hyper-theme/image_XYt8L4Ga.png)
4. Click **Save.**

## What you can customize

You can customize these parts of your checkout even if you're **not** on **Shopify Plus**:

* Logo & Header
* Background color & form fields
* Button colors
* Typography
* Checkout layout
