# Ajax add to cart

Let shoppers add products to their cart without reloading the page. The cart updates instantly in the background, so shoppers can keep browsing without interruption.

Available on all Foxify plans.

## Turn on Ajax Add To Cart

1. In the FoxStudio editor, open **Apps market** (**A**).
2. Find **Ajax Add To Cart** and select **Install extension**.
3. In the extension's **Settings** tab, select **Enable Ajax add to cart**.
4. Click **Update**.

There's no block to add. Once enabled, Ajax add to cart works across your store.

## Tips

* Combine it with [Sticky add to cart](https://docs.foxecom.com/foxify-app/integrations/foxify-extensions/sticky-add-to-cart) and [Product quick view](https://docs.foxecom.com/foxify-app/integrations/foxify-extensions/product-quick-view). Shoppers can add products from anywhere on the page, and stay where they are after adding.
* Test with your cart setup. If you use a third-party cart app, preview your store after enabling to make sure both work together.

**Why isn't Ajax Add To Cart working?**<br/>Try these steps:

* Check that **Enable Ajax add to cart** is selected and you clicked **Update**.
* Clear your browser cache and refresh your store.
* Check whether a third-party app is changing your cart behavior, such as a cart drawer or upsell app.
