## What it checks

SEO Checker scans your page and evaluates six factors that directly affect how well your page ranks in search engines:

## How to run a scan

#### Open the page in FoxStudio

Navigate to the page you want to analyze.

#### Open SEO Checker

In the left sidebar, click the **SEO Checker icon** to open the analysis panel.

#### Run the scan

Click **Re-analyze** to start an SEO scan. Results appear in the panel with prioritized recommendations.

#### Fix and re-scan

Apply the recommended fixes on your page, then run Re-analyze again to confirm the issues are resolved.

## **Best practices**

* **Add alt text to image**: Use descriptive, keyword-relevant alt text — not just the file name. This helps both SEO and screen readers.
* **Write a meta description for every page**: Keep it under 160 characters. It appears in search result previews — write it for the reader, not just the algorithm.
* **Use keywords naturally**: Include your main keyword in the page title, first heading, and 2-3 times in body content. Avoid keyword stuffing.
* **Optimize image file sizes**: Compress images before uploading. Large files are the most common cause of slow page load — which directly affects rankings.
