# Foxie AI Agent: Build and edit pages by chatting
Foxie AI Agent is currently in beta. You may run into occasional issues as we keep improving it — share feedback via live chat.
Foxie AI Agent is an AI design agent built into FoxStudio. Describe what you want in the chat panel, and Foxie builds it directly on your page — a full layout, a single section, a copy rewrite, or a spacing fix.

## How is this different from the other ways to build?
## How to use Foxie
1. In FoxStudio, click the **Foxie** icon at the top of the left sidebar. The chat panel opens beside your canvas.
2. Click any section or element on the canvas to point Foxie at it. A tag appears in the chat box showing what your next message will apply to.
3. Type your request and press Enter.
4. Watch the canvas. Foxie replies in a line or two, but the actual result appears live on your page.
New to Foxie? Start with one of the suggested prompts in the panel.
### Write a better prompt
The more detail you give, the closer the first result lands. Include:
* The goal of the page
* Who it's for
* What you're selling
* Your brand details — colors, fonts, tone
Be specific about what you want built. "Add a 3-column features section with icons" works better than "add features".
If something important is missing, Foxie asks you a question instead of guessing.
### Foxie may ask you questions first
When a request leaves too much open — especially building a page from scratch — Foxie asks a few quick questions before it starts. You'll see them as a short set of multiple-choice cards in the chat panel, one at a time, with a **Next** button to move through them.
They cover the things that shape the result most. Answering takes a few seconds and gets you a much closer first draft. You can also dismiss the questions with the **X** and let Foxie work from what you've already told it.
### Give Foxie context
Context tells Foxie exactly what to work on, so a change lands where you meant it to. There are two ways to set it:
* Click the element on the canvas — the matching tag appears in the chat box automatically
* Click the **+** button in the chat box, choose **Add context**, then pick the section or element
Tags you'll see include `@layout` for the whole page, plus `@section`, `@text`, `@image`, `@button`, `@stack`, `@grid` and `@cell`.
Click a button, type "Make this red", and only that button changes — nothing else on the page moves.
If you don't select anything, Foxie uses the nearest supported section as its reference.
### Commands
Commands are shortcuts for common jobs. Click the **+** button in the chat box, then **Add command**.

#### **Element commands**

| prettify | Cleans up spacing, alignment and visual balance on the breakpoint you're currently viewing |
You don't have to select an element first. If you don't, Foxie applies the command to the nearest supported section.
### Attach an image
Click the **+** button and choose **Attach image** to give Foxie a design to work from. Describe what you want alongside it — for example, "Build a hero section in this style".
Foxie recreates the **layout and styling** it sees in your image: structure, colors, typography and spacing. You'll need to add your own images to the result afterwards.
### Scheduling a publish
You can ask Foxie to schedule the page — for example, "Schedule to publish this page tomorrow morning 10AM". Foxie confirms the date and time in chat, and the editor header switches to **Scheduled**.
One message is enough to queue your page to go live. Check the date and time in Foxie's reply before moving on.
## Credits
Foxie uses the same AI credits as Foxify's other AI features.
* Your monthly allowance depends on your plan — check it under **Plans & Pricing** in your Foxify dashboard
* Credits reset on the 1st of every month, and unused credits don't carry over
## Things to know
* **Foxie only does page and content work.** Ask it to build, edit, restyle or rewrite something on your page. Questions outside that — how a Foxify feature works, pricing advice, general store questions — are politely declined. Use our documentation or live chat for those.
* **Complex requests take longer.** A full page build runs through many steps before Foxie replies. A quiet chat panel doesn't mean it's stuck — watch the canvas.
* **Long conversations get trimmed.** Foxie drops older parts of a very long chat to stay fast. If it seems to have forgotten something you said much earlier, repeat it — or start a fresh chat for a new task.
* **You can stop a run in progress** if Foxie is heading in the wrong direction. Anything it already finished stays on the page — use Undo to clear it.
## FAQs
**Can I undo what Foxie did?**
Yes. Use Undo (Ctrl/Cmd + Z) on the canvas.
**Foxie changed more than I wanted. Why?**
Most likely nothing was selected, so Foxie applied your request to the nearest section. Click the specific element first, check the tag in the chat box, then send your message
**I attached an image, but the pictures from it aren't on my page. Why?**
Foxie recreates the design — layout, colors, typography, spacing — but not the images themselves. Add your own images to the generated section afterwards.
**The result doesn't match what I described. What should I do?**
Undo, then try again with more detail — the page goal, who it's for, what you're selling, the style you want, and the sections you need.
**Who can use Foxie during the beta?**
All paid plans have access automatically. Free plan merchants can join by registering for the beta.
