# Sale badge not showing the discount

This almost always comes down to one of a few things: the product has no Compare-at price or the badge itself is switched off somewhere in your settings. Check each in order below.

## 1. Check the product has a Compare-at price

The sale badge is driven entirely by Shopify's Compare-at price field — it only appears when Compare-at price is set higher than the current price. No valid Compare-at price means no badge, regardless of what's toggled on in Foxify.

1. In Shopify admin, open the product.
2. Under **Price,** confirm **Compare at price** is set and higher than **Price**.
3. Save, then refresh your Foxify page.

## 2. Check the badge is turned on

Even with a valid Compare-at price, the badge display can be switched off — where you check depends on where the badge is missing.

### Missing on a Product card (collections, related products, etc.)

### Missing on a product page

Select the **Prices** element inside **Product details**, then confirm **Show sale badge** is enabled and pick a **Sale badge type** — Text, Fixed amount, or Percentage.

## Still not showing?

* Republish the page after making changes — edits don't reach the live page until you do.
* If you're using a third-party badge app instead of or alongside Foxify's native badge, check that app's own display rules — it may have separate conditions, such as inventory level, that aren't currently met.
