# How do I make an element sticky on scroll? ## Steps An element inside a [stack](https://docs.foxecom.com/foxify-app/foxstudio/layout-and-styling/stack-elements) or [cell](https://docs.foxecom.com/foxify-app/foxstudio/layout-and-styling/cells-and-grids) can be set to stick in place while the page scrolls, using its [Position](https://docs.foxecom.com/foxify-app/foxstudio/layout-and-styling/position-elements-with-relative-absolute-or-sticky) setting. 1. Select the element you want to keep visible during scroll. 2. In the Inspector panel > **Design** tab, set **Position** to **Sticky**. 3. Set an **Inset** value for the edge it should stick to (e.g. Top: 20px) — leave the other sides as auto. 4. Preview the live page and scroll past the element to confirm it holds in place at that offset. Sticky only takes effect within its immediate parent (the Stack or Cell it sits in). If that parent has a fixed height or hides overflow, the element can stop sticking once you scroll past that container's edge. ### **See it in action** [How to add Stacked images effect](https://docs.foxecom.com/foxify-app/faqs-and-troubleshooting/faqs/how-to-add-stacked-images-effect) uses this exact technique — several Images inside a vertical Stack, each set to Sticky with a *different* Inset value, so they lock in place one after another as visitors scroll, creating a staggered, overlapping effect. ### **Already-built options for common cases** You don't need to set this up manually for these two scenarios — Foxify has dedicated features: * **Sticky Add To Cart** — a floating add-to-cart bar for product pages, added via **App extensions**.
